What a DHA Islamabad job usually looks like
DHA Islamabad spreads a long way down the expressway, and a good part of it sits closer to Rawalpindi than to Islamabad proper. That geography usually costs people money, because the collection gets quoted as an intercity job. It doesn't here. The twin cities are one service area, so a Phase 2 address is priced like any other.
Most households we collect from DHA Islamabad land on a 10 x 15, which is 150 square feet and runs PKR 30,000 to 37,500 a month. That is a guide and not a quote. What decides it is the volume you actually have, not the number of bedrooms you started with, and two houses of the same size rarely need the same unit once one of them has sold its wardrobes and the other hasn't.
The rent covers the space and the security. Collection and delivery are quoted separately, because a third-floor flat with no lift and a ground-floor house are not the same job, and pricing them the same means one of you is paying for the other.

Distance is not a surcharge here
The phases run a long way out, and that's the thing worth stating plainly: we don't charge more for a further address. Collection across Islamabad and Rawalpindi is priced as one area, so the far end of DHA isn't penalised for being at the far end of DHA. The roads inside are modern and take a truck without difficulty. What we do ask for is the phase and street when you book, because the sectors are large enough that a vague address costs the crew half an hour of driving.
None of this changes your monthly rent, which is based on the floor area you take and nothing else. It changes the collection quote, and we would far rather it changed the quote than the morning.
How a collection runsOne thing we do not do: cold storage
We do not offer refrigerated or temperature-controlled storage. Our units are dry, ventilated and pest-controlled, which is right for furniture, appliances, documents and household goods, and wrong for anything that needs to be kept cold. If you need cold storage, we would rather tell you now than take a booking we cannot honour.

Is DHA Islamabad charged as an intercity collection?
No. Islamabad and Rawalpindi are one service area, so a DHA Phase 2 collection is priced like any other in the twin cities. A Bahria Town Rawalpindi pickup is treated the same way.
Can you collect from DHA and deliver to a different city later?
Ask us and we'll quote it. Delivery is a separate quote from the monthly rent, and where it's going affects that quote, so it's worth mentioning when you book rather than when you want your things back.
How long can I leave things in storage?
As long as you want. The minimum is one month and after that it runs month by month, so a posting that turns into three years is the same arrangement as a six week gap. There's no penalty for ending it and no requirement to commit to a length up front.
Where exactly is the Islamabad facility?
We serve Islamabad and Rawalpindi from one site, and we share the exact address when you book. Visits are by appointment so that somebody is there to open your unit for you, rather than you arriving to a locked gate.
