What size storage unit do I need?
The most-asked question in self storage, and the one most likely to cost you money. Too small means a second unit; too large means rent on air. Work backwards from what you're actually storing.

5 x 5
25 sq ft
A single room, or a student's things
A single bed, a small wardrobe's worth of clothes, a desk, a few appliances and eight or ten cartons. This is also the right size for someone storing the contents of one room while it's redecorated.
PKR 5,000to 6,250 a month
10 x 10
100 sq ft
A 1 or 2 bedroom flat
Bed and mattress, a sofa set, a fridge, a washing machine, a dining table and chairs, a TV, and roughly fifteen to twenty cartons. The most common size we let, by a distance.
PKR 20,000to 25,000 a month
10 x 15
150 sq ft
A 2 to 3 bedroom house
Everything above, plus a second bedroom set, more white goods, and the accumulated cartons of a family that has lived somewhere a few years. Expect thirty to forty cartons.
PKR 30,000to 37,500 a month
10 x 20
200 sq ft
A 3 to 4 bedroom house
A full family home including the awkward items, a dining set for eight, a full-height almirah, a deep freezer, garden furniture, and the boxes from the store room nobody has opened since the last move.
PKR 40,000to 50,000 a month
Storing more than a 10 x 20?
Once you're past 200 square feet, a whole house rather than a flat, a 40 ft container is usually the better buy at PKR 50,000 a month flat. That's about PKR 164 per square foot, against PKR 200 to 250 for a unit. Bulk should be cheaper, and here it is.

|---|---|---|---|
| 20 ft container | 149 sq ft1,170 cu ft | A 2 to 3 bedroom house. Sealed, and nobody else's things share it. | PKR 30,000≈ PKR 201/sq ft |

Containers are a flat monthly rate for the whole sealed box. The bigger the box, the less you pay per square foot. Compare the per-foot figures above against the PKR 200 to 250 unit band. Internal dimensions shown, not the external size the box is named after.

Send us a list and we'll size it
A room-by-room list, or just a few photos on WhatsApp, is enough for us to tell you the size and the monthly figure. We do this several times a day and we would much rather spend five minutes getting it right than move you into a second unit three weeks later.
If you're genuinely between two sizes, take the smaller one. Units can usually be swapped upward mid-stay; being told you must take a bigger unit on day one, before anything has been packed, is how people end up paying for space they never fill.

What does storage cost?
Units are PKR 200 to 250 per square foot per month, so you pay for exactly the floor area you take. In practice that means a 5 x 5 (25 sq ft, PKR 5,000 to 6,250 a month) holds a studio or a single room; a 10 x 10 (100 sq ft, PKR 20,000 to 25,000 a month) holds a 1 or 2 bedroom flat, furniture and appliances included; a 10 x 15 (150 sq ft, PKR 30,000 to 37,500 a month) holds a 2 to 3 bedroom house with its white goods; a 10 x 20 (200 sq ft, PKR 40,000 to 50,000 a month) holds a 3 to 4 bedroom house, everything in it. Containers are a flat rate instead: PKR 30,000 a month for the 20 ft container, and PKR 50,000 a month for the 40 ft container. There's a 1 month minimum, and collection and delivery are quoted separately because they depend on where you're and how much there is.
What size storage unit do I need?
As a rule of thumb: a 5 x 5 (25 sq ft, PKR 5,000 to 6,250 a month) holds a studio or a single room; a 10 x 10 (100 sq ft, PKR 20,000 to 25,000 a month) holds a 1 or 2 bedroom flat, furniture and appliances included; a 10 x 15 (150 sq ft, PKR 30,000 to 37,500 a month) holds a 2 to 3 bedroom house with its white goods; a 10 x 20 (200 sq ft, PKR 40,000 to 50,000 a month) holds a 3 to 4 bedroom house, everything in it. If you're storing more than a 10 x 20, a whole house rather than a flat, a 40 ft container is usually the better buy at PKR 50,000 a month. If you would rather not guess, send us a room-by-room list or a few photos and we'll tell you the size. Getting this wrong costs you either rent you did not need or a second unit.
Should I take a unit or a container?
A unit is a partitioned room inside the building, billed by the square foot, so you pay for exactly the space you use. A container is a steel box on site, sealed and exclusively yours, at a flat rate, PKR 30,000 a month for the 20 ft container (149 sq ft, about 201 rupees a foot), and PKR 50,000 a month for the 40 ft container (304 sq ft, about 164 rupees a foot). So the 40 ft container is cheaper per square foot than any unit, and the smaller one lands level with the cheapest unit rate, the bigger the box, the less you pay per foot, which is how bulk should behave. Take a unit when you want to pay for exactly the space you need, and a container when you're storing a whole house and would rather it went in sealed as one consignment and stayed that way.
How secure is it?
Every facility has cameras covering the entrances and the unit doors, recording around the clock, and a guard on site overnight. Your unit is locked and the key or seal is yours. We photograph the seal when your goods go in and again when they come out, so there's a record either side of the stay, and nobody else's belongings share your unit.
