This is a summary, not the contract. The storage agreement you sign when you take a unit is the document that governs the arrangement. Where the two differ, that agreement wins. This page is here so you know the shape of it before you call.
Term and payment
The minimum is 1 month, after which storage runs month to month. Rent is payable monthly in advance. Units are billed at PKR 200 to 250 per square foot per month; containers are a flat monthly rate. Collection and delivery are quoted separately and aren't part of the monthly rent.
If rent falls behind we'll contact you on the number and email you gave us before taking any other step.
Access
Access is by appointment with at least 48 hours' notice, so that a member of staff is present to open your unit. The first hour on site is free. If you're out of the country, you may nominate someone in Pakistan to access or collect on your behalf; we'll ask you to confirm that in writing.
What may not be stored
Nothing perishable, nothing living, and nothing flammable or explosive, including fuel, solvents, paint thinner, gas cylinders and fireworks. No illegal goods. We also ask that you do not store cash, jewellery or documents that couldn't be replaced; keep those with you.
We do not offer refrigerated or temperature-controlled storage. Our units are dry, ventilated and pest-controlled, which is right for furniture, appliances, documents and household goods, and wrong for anything that needs to be kept cold. If you need cold storage, we would rather tell you now than take a booking we cannot honour.
Inventory and condition
An itemised inventory is written as your goods are loaded, and you receive a copy. Your unit is sealed and photographed at intake and again at retrieval. Those records are what any question about the contents is settled against, so please check the inventory before the truck leaves.
Insurance
Please arrange your own insurance for goods in storage, and tell us if you're storing anything of unusual value so we can agree how it's handled. We take the security measures described on this site, CCTV, an overnight guard, sealed individual units, but security isn't the same thing as insurance, and we would rather be clear about that in advance than after an event.
Ending your storage
Tell us when you want your goods back and we'll book the retrieval or delivery. Please give us reasonable notice so the unit can be opened and the contents checked against the inventory with you.
