Most people have never put a household into storage before and are doing it in the same fortnight they are doing ten other things. Here is exactly what happens, so none of it's a surprise.

You tell us what you're storing
A room-by-room list, a few photos on WhatsApp, or just the size of the house. We come back with the unit size, the monthly rent and a separate figure for collection. Usually the same day, and nothing is committed at this point.

We collect, pack and list
Our crew arrives at the time agreed, wraps and packs everything, dismantles what needs dismantling, and loads it. Every item and carton goes onto a written inventory as it goes on the truck, not afterwards, from memory.

It goes into your unit, sealed
Your goods go into your own unit, not a shared floor, not stacked against someone else's furniture. The unit is locked and sealed, and we photograph the seal. Those photos and the inventory are the record that the stay starts from.

You get it back when you ask
Tell us when you want it and we book the delivery. If you only need one thing, we'll pull it and courier it rather than making you travel. If you want to visit, give us 48 hours and your unit will be open when you arrive.

The part that matters
Why the inventory is written at the truck
An inventory compiled later, from memory or from a photo of a stacked room, isn't an inventory, it's a guess that both sides have to trust. Ours is written as each item is carried out, and you get a copy before the truck moves.
It matters most at the other end, often a year or two later, when the person receiving the goods may not be the person who packed them. The list and the seal photographs are what turn “I think everything is here” into something checkable.
Storing while you're out of the country
This is our largest group of customers, and it changes the details. The person handing the goods over is often not the person who will collect them, and the stay is measured in years rather than weeks.
- Nominate someone in Pakistan who can authorise access or retrieval on your behalf
- Pay monthly from abroad, no need for someone here to handle the rent
- The inventory and seal photos are sent to you, wherever you're
- Six months to two years is normal here, and there's no penalty at either end
